Clocks, especially alarm clocks, have become increasingly multifunctional. They often include features such as radios, USB ports, and even smart capabilities. However, these additional features can often lead to a cluttered and confusing user experience. Many people simply want a clock that tells the time and maybe has an alarm function, without any of the extra bells and whistles.

We turned to brutalist design for this clock, as brutalism in architecture often allows the design to show through without being overly complex. We used concrete and bronze as materials. This lets the design feel premium while also being relatively cheap to manufacuture. The clock has 2 touch buttons, which work together to set the time and alarm. The clock is powered using a DC to USB plug, so it can be run from a wall adapter or a computer.
